Why We Exist

JamSurface exists to make professional websites attainable for small businesses. Most startups can’t (and shouldn’t have to) spend $5–10k upfront just to get online. We flipped the model: custom, scalable websites for $0 upfront and a simple monthly plan.

By working remote-first we lower overhead and environmental footprint, so your investment goes where it matters—into your website and support. We’re a diverse, inclusive team, with First Nations ownership as part of our foundation. Openness and accessibility aren’t add-ons—they’re how we work.

    We unpack goals, audiences, and must-haves. If you’re still shaping your offer, we’ll help you frame it simply so the site can do its job from day one.

    You’ll get a plain-language summary of scope, content needed, and a realistic timeline. No pressure and no jargon.

    Design & Build

    We design for clarity first: strong typography, clean structure, fast performance. Then we build with SvelteKit and a headless CMS (Sanity/Strapi) so content is easy to manage.

    Typical launches take 1–3 weeks. If content is ready and decisions are quick, we can move even faster. The pacing is collaborative—your feedback shapes the result.

  3. Step 3

    Launch & Support

    We handle hosting, page-level SEO, performance, and the details that keep things running. Need a tweak? Use the client portal. Prefer to edit yourself? Log into the CMS—no code required.

    It’s all included in $99/month. Domain fees and any provider overages are separate and always flagged up front.
